Bus Driver Utility Box.
Designed for London Buses, part of Transport for London, this bespoke utility box provides bus drivers with access to clean water, electricity and secure tool storage. Developed to withstand the demands of everyday use on London's busy streets, the design combines durability, functionality and a timeless aesthetic that integrates naturally into the urban landscape.
Drawing on Transport for London's distinctive design heritage, the project brings together precise engineering, carefully considered materials and a simple, confident visual language. Concrete, stainless steel, timber and polyester powder-coated steel were selected for their durability and long lifespan, creating a robust piece of street furniture designed to serve the city for years to come.
